Prism ist ein Tagebuch-Service für Erwachsene. Das Mindestalter für die Nutzung von Prism ist 18 Jahre. Wir erfassen bewusst keine persönlichen Daten von Personen unter 18 Jahren. Wenn Sie Eltern oder Vormund sind und glauben, dass eine Person unter 18 Jahren ein Konto hat, senden Sie uns eine E-Mail und wir werden es löschen.

Prism processes sensitive personal data — what you write, how you feel, your mood patterns, your behavioural tendencies — through AI systems hosted outside the UAE. The UAE Child Digital Safety Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 26 of 2025), effective 1 January 2026 with full compliance required by 1 January 2027, defines a “child” as anyone under 18 and imposes platform-level duties on digital services operating in or directed to the UAE, regardless of where they are incorporated.

Those duties include effective age-verification mechanisms calibrated to platform risk, default privacy settings, blocking and filtering tools, and (for under-13s specifically) verifiable parental consent with a ban on targeted advertising and a requirement for plain-language notices to both child and caregiver. Given the sensitivity of the data Prism processes, our risk classification under the Law is high — meaning “effective” age verification skews toward document or biometric-grade rather than self-declaration. To stay clearly outside the under-13 verifiable-consent regime and to reduce enforcement exposure, our age floor is 18, enforced via signup attestation and reactive removal.

·Signup attestation. Every signup confirms the user is at least 18.

·Terms of Service age clause. Terms § Your account sets the floor at 18 and is clicked-accept at signup.

·Reactive enforcement. If we become aware that a user is under 18, we delete the account and all associated data.

·No children’s-data processing. Because we do not permit under-18 signups, the under-13 verifiable-parental-consent regime does not apply to us. If we were to accept under-18 users in future, we would implement verifiable parental consent, heightened defaults, and the Law’s other platform-level duties before doing so.

·Market Prism to children or teens.

·Run ads or offer Prism through children-targeted distribution channels.

·Build features designed to attract under-age users (no gamification loops, no social virality targeted at minors).

·Share data with advertising networks, data brokers, or any party that would build profiles of users.

·Train AI models on user data, regardless of age.

Wenn Sie glauben, dass eine Person unter 18 Jahren Prism nutzt, schreiben Sie eine E-Mail an privacy@prismlens.net mit:

·The email address the child used to sign up (if known).

·Your relationship to the child.

·A way to verify your identity. We accept reasonable informal identification.

Wir werden:

·Disable the account within 48 hours of the report.

·Delete all associated data within 30 days across our primary database and subprocessor caches.

·Confirm to you in writing when deletion is complete.

We will not ask the child’s permission for this deletion; the account shouldn’t exist.

Wenn Sie sich unter 18 Jahren angemeldet haben und Prism jetzt nutzen möchten, da Sie das richtige Alter erreicht haben, schreiben Sie uns eine E-Mail – wir aktivieren Konten von Minderjährigen nicht automatisch erneut, werden aber Einzelfälle auf Anfrage bearbeiten.

Wir bieten derzeit keine Elternkontrollen an, da wir Prism niemandem unter 18 Jahren anbieten. Falls die Behörden der VAE uns verlangen, solche Kontrollen gemäß den Umsetzungsbestimmungen des Child Digital Safety Law anzubieten, oder falls wir in Zukunft ein spezielles Angebot für Jugendliche einführen, werden wir diese Seite aktualisieren und bestehende Benutzer vor einer Änderung des Leistungsumfangs benachrichtigen.
