Frequently asked questions
Things people actually ask.
Short answers. If yours isn’t here, email support@prismlens.net.
Essentials
Prism is a journaling tool that reads every entry you write and, across weeks, shows you the patterns you’re too close to see yourself. You write in your own words. Prism does the rest.
All the noticing you’d have to do manually — tracking mood, spotting what keeps coming up, connecting this week to last week — happens in the background. The Weekly Mirror is where it lands.
A short reading of your week. It tells you how mood moved, what themes kept showing up, what correlated with what (e.g. “short-sleep nights and push-through days travelled together”), and where next week is probably heading. Reward for three sentences a day.
A few sentences a day is plenty. Three or four entries a week is already enough for the Mirror to find something worth telling you. More isn’t better; consistent is.
Privacy & data
Yes. Your entries are yours. They’re encrypted in transit, stored in row-level-secured Supabase tables scoped to your account, and never sold or used to train third-party models.
See the Privacy Policy for the full picture.
Yes, any time. Settings → Data & Privacy lets you export every entry and analysis as JSON, wipe all your data (keeping your account), or delete the account entirely.
Product
Every entry gets read: themes pulled out, behaviors tagged, mood scored. Once a week the Mirror stitches the whole picture together, with correlations and predictions that cite your own words.
We use Anthropic and OpenAI under the hood, with zero-retention agreements where available. See the AI disclaimer.
Day One is a beautiful journal. Notion is a database. Neither reads what you write and hands anything back. Prism picks up where they stop: the entry goes in, a reading comes out.
If you just want to store text, those are great. If you want something that gets sharper the more you write, that’s the job Prism is doing.
Account
Prism is in private beta. Founding members lock in a reduced lifetime price. Pricing is shown on the landing page.
Not yet. The web app works well on phones today and installs to the home screen in two taps. A dedicated iOS build is on the roadmap for founding members.
Head to Settings → Help & Feedback. From there you can replay the onboarding tour or start a guided walkthrough of the live app — Flow, Vault, Mirror — so you know where everything lives.
Email support@prismlens.net or use the feedback box inside the app. We read every message.
